How to Burn Fat Fast

No BS

It is actually pretty ironic. If you want to burn fat fast you have to fast and use your fat.

And it is a little bit more than simply eating less calories

Let me explain.

Our bodies typically use carbohydrates for energy (bread, fruit, rice, the good stuff right), but our bodies also can use stored fat for energy.

The tricky part - telling our body to do this.

That’s the role of fasting. Generally, it takes around 16 hours of fasting for your body to start using stored fat as energy.

But we can make this work a little quicker for us hungry folk by simply limiting our carbs before we start the fast.

Now the final, most important and often skipped part, is to actually work out. Aerobic and slow twitch workouts will use the most stored fat, but training anaerobic and fast twitch also does the trick (I always do both).

It is really simple and easy to implement if you workout in the morning. Simply pass on the heavy carbs in the evening (you will probably sleep better too) and skip breakfast until after you workout.

If you want to burn fat even faster with this all you have to do is fast longer, and workout longer.

That said, there are many ways to skin a cat and this may not be for you, but hopefully you learned something.

And for you carb lovers who stopped reading at “you have to fast”, I will be diving deeper into the difference between simple and complex carbs soon. Stay tuned.

Stay clutch,

Luke
